Justino Alves

João António Justino Alves dos Santos was born in the city of Porto in 1940. 

Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon. Parallel to the teaching profession prepares the work of author rank in numerous group and solo exhibitions. 

Left for Paris in 1976 as Fellow of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Paris exposes the Calouste Gulbenkian Cultural Centre and Gallery Documenta in 1976 and 1977, having also competed and been represented in the Halls "Realités Nouvelles" and "Grand et Jeune D'Aujourd'hui". Are you acquired works for the national collections of France. 

He returned to Portugal in 1978 developing great activity in the visual art. 

Is represented in several museums and public institutions. 

It Holder Honorary Member of the European Academy of Fine Art.
